			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="first-child "><img src="http://michaelsilvesters.com/images/email.gif" alt="" title="email" width="200" height="173" class="alignleft size-full wp-image-105" /></a><span title="O" class="cap"><span>O</span></span>kay guys, everyone knows that the money is in the list.</p>
<p>No matter where you go to get your Internet marketing advice.  You will no doubt come across somebody that says the money is in your e-mail list.</p>
<p>Now, I totally agree with that and you should too, because any decent Internet marketer treats their list like gold.  </p>
<p>But there’s one thing that many people don’t do with their e-mail list and I think that this more important than almost anything once you have built your list.</p>
<p>And that is segregating your list.</p>
<p>Now, what I mean by segregating your e-mail list.  Is this.</p>
<p>Instead of slamming every single one of your e-mail subscribers into one big massive list.  You should be grouping them up into sections.</p>
<p>Let me give you some examples.</p>
<p>You should have a list of leads, these are the guys that have not spent any money with you.  </p>
<p>They might be people that have downloaded your free e-book, or just opted into your newsletter.  Or maybe joined your e-mail course?</p>
<p>Now, the reason you keep these guys in their own list is because you want to focus all your attention on getting these guys to buy something.  You’re going to focus all your energy on getting these guys to spend some money.</p>
<p>Then, once they have spent some money with you.  You can move them into another group.  </p>
<p>You can call it your “buyers” list.  </p>
<p>Now these guys are red hot, because they have already bought your product.  Your intention with this list is to keep them purchasing products and building a great relationship with them.  </p>
<p>I recommend that you suggest additional products that you may own or have distribution rights to OR you could possibly recommend affiliate products to them.</p>
<p>Any decent autoresponder service or script will automatically remove people from the “free” list once they are added to your “buyers” list.  Autoresponder services such as aweber are fully capable of doing this.</p>
<p>So, I highly recommend that if you are not doing this already.  You are leaving money on the table.  All you are doing is annoying people on your list, unnecessarily.</p>
<p>Let me give you another example.</p>
<p>Let’s say that Johnny lands on your website and decides that your free report might be a good idea to download.  So little Johnny punches in his details into your optin form and then gets redirected to the download page.  </p>
<p>Johnny then downloads the report.</p>
<p>Little Johnny read your report, and read your sales e-mails that you are sending him and decides that…  Yes, he’s going to buy.  </p>
<p>So little Johnny decides to click on your order link, proceeds through the payment process and is now a brand spanking new owner of a new informational product.</p>
<p>Then a few days later little Johnny checks his e-mails, and wonders why the Hell am I still getting all these sales messages.  E.g. One says “little Johnny, you need to buy this”.  “Hey little Johnny check this out”.  “Yo Johnny my product is the best thing since sliced bread.”</p>
<p>Little Johnny is starting to get slightly pissed off that he still getting sales e-mails.  Even after he’s bought the product?</p>
<p>Now, can you see what’s happening here?</p>
<p>You don’t want to annoy people that have just bought your product, because no matter how good your product is…there is a very big percentage of people are still unsure that they have made the right decision in buying your product…even after they purchased it.  </p>
<p>Some people don’t need an excuse to ask for a refund.  You don’t want to give them any more reason than they may already have.</p>
<p>I hope you now realize how important it is to at least segregate your list, meaning separate the buyers from your leads.</p>
<p>There is another cool way of segregating your list and that is, by the amounts that they are spending with you.</p>
<p>Example:<br />
Group your buyers into people that spent $27.<br />
Then the people that spent $67.<br />
And the people that have spent $127<br />
And the people spent $427.  </p>
<p>It’s a good idea to group people by the amount that they have spent with you so that you know where to take them next. Keep walking your list deeper into your funnel. The main aim for you is to get them to spend that next higher amount.</p>
<p>Anyway, I’m going to leave that with you!</p>
<p>If you’re using a service or script, that allows you to segregate your list.  You need to do it right now, if you’re not already.</p>

<p>Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.</p>
<p>When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.</p>
<p>Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered.</p>
<p>Frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum. When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank all the cider and hidden the liquor. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.</p>
<p>Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree.</p>
<p>The angel said very cheerfully, &#8216;Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn&#8217;t this a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?&#8217;</p>
<p>And so began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree. </p>

<p>Well, in my opinion there is a new type of blindness&#8230;</p>
<p>I&#8217;ll call it &#8220;Testimonial Blindness&#8221;&#8230;its when people start to scan over your testimonials like they dont exist.</p>
<p>Do you really think that massive list of perfectly crafted glowing testimonials is going to help your cause? No Way&#8230;especially if they are the type that are full of hype. </p>
<p>So here is the solution&#8230;</p>
<p>If you are going to use testimonials&#8230;use them sparringly on the page unless it is a webpage just for testimonials. If you have a full page like this&#8230;make sure you have an order link every couple of testimonials.</p>
<p>Just concentrate on using the testimonials around the order button/signup page.</p>
<p>When you start gathering enough testimonials&#8230;an even better way to use them is to strategically place a testimonial that relates exactly to what was just said on the sales page. Instead of having a random testimonial&#8230;use targeted ones.</p>
<p>EG: Place a testimonial that mentions how easy the sales process was or how fast delivery was on the order page.</p>
<p>Another Massive tip&#8230;Make sure you have 100% permission in writing to use that persons testimonial.</p>
<p>Take these tips Seriously&#8230;They WORK!</p>

<p>How there is a recession, times are tough, people are losing their jobs. Banks are going bankrupt. The world seems to be falling down right around you.</p>
<p>Many people, business owners and internet marketers just do nothing&#8230;and hope to come out the other side with everything intact.</p>
<p>They &#8220;Do Nothing&#8221; because they are not even sure what to do in the first place. And these same people will lose massive sales and clients because they don’t have a plan in place to implement during these tough times.</p>
<p>Here are 5 Tips to get your income to not only survive, but to thrive <img src='http://michaelsilvesters.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><strong>1.  Cut the Fat</strong> - Take this opportunity to take a look at all your expenses. This should include your marketing, and fixed costs etc. Analyze whether these costs are improving your income or dragging it down. Determine whether it is a complete necessary thing to have. Is it making money for you?</p>
<p><strong>2.  Plan the next 12 months</strong> - If you don’t know where you’re going, you won’t get anywhere. It is very important to have written goals that you constantly review and update. Write down your long term goals first then write smaller goals that eventually achieve the long term ones.  This way you can see that your resources are focused and consistent with your goals.  It will also take some emotion out of your buying decisions and keep you on track.</p>
<p><strong>3.  Control your Cash Flow</strong> - Make sure you are making enough sales to cover your expenses. I know it sounds obvious, but you&#8217;d be surprised how many people don’t even know what their expenses are. They just cross their fingers and &#8220;Hope&#8221; that they are making more than they are spending.  Use this opportunity to add a payment plan to your higher ticket items to encourage people to spend more with you.</p>
<p><strong>4.  Create a Backend</strong> - Its way easier to get your existing buyers to purchase another product or service than it is to get a brand new buyer.  This is your opportunity to add an up sell to your sales process, create and sell another complimentary product. Or just start to recommend affiliate products to them that are related to what they have already purchased from you.  Understand their pain and give them a solution.  If you’re not sure what their pain is or what they would want&#8230;just ask them with an email survey. </p>
<p><strong>5.  Get Affiliates</strong> - Having affiliates selling your products is one of the most cost effective ways of generating more business. The fastest and easiest way to get started is to sign up at http://www.paydotcom.com and let them run your affiliate program. It’s all about leverage, and the smartest thing that you can do right now is to have a heap of people actively selling your products for a commission without you having to do anything at all.</p>
<p>So, to sum all this up&#8230;there is a massive opportunity out there that you must seize. You should take this moment to develop new tactics and strategies to take your income to the next level.<br />
