I am amazed that idiot spammers on twitter believe that they can make money by spamming their ads. And dont get me started on the people that spam this type of crap.

You hear it all the time.
How there is a recession, times are tough, people are losing their jobs. Banks are going bankrupt. The world seems to be falling down right around you.
Many people, business owners and internet marketers just do nothing…and hope to come out the other side with everything intact.
They “Do Nothing” because they are not even sure what to do in the first place. And these same people will lose massive sales and clients because they don’t have a plan in place to implement during these tough times.
Here are 5 Tips to get your income to not only survive, but to thrive
1. Cut the Fat – Take this opportunity to take a look at all your expenses. This should include your marketing, and fixed costs etc. Analyze whether these costs are improving your income or dragging it down. Determine whether it is a complete necessary thing to have. Is it making money for you?
2. Plan the next 12 months – If you don’t know where you’re going, you won’t get anywhere. It is very important to have written goals that you constantly review and update. Write down your long term goals first then write smaller goals that eventually achieve the long term ones. This way you can see that your resources are focused and consistent with your goals. It will also take some emotion out of your buying decisions and keep you on track.
3. Control your Cash Flow – Make sure you are making enough sales to cover your expenses. I know it sounds obvious, but you’d be surprised how many people don’t even know what their expenses are. They just cross their fingers and “Hope” that they are making more than they are spending. Use this opportunity to add a payment plan to your higher ticket items to encourage people to spend more with you.
4. Create a Backend – Its way easier to get your existing buyers to purchase another product or service than it is to get a brand new buyer. This is your opportunity to add an up sell to your sales process, create and sell another complimentary product. Or just start to recommend affiliate products to them that are related to what they have already purchased from you. Understand their pain and give them a solution. If you’re not sure what their pain is or what they would want…just ask them with an email survey.
5. Get Affiliates – Having affiliates selling your products is one of the most cost effective ways of generating more business. The fastest and easiest way to get started is to sign up at http://www.paydotcom.com and let them run your affiliate program. It’s all about leverage, and the smartest thing that you can do right now is to have a heap of people actively selling your products for a commission without you having to do anything at all.
So, to sum all this up…there is a massive opportunity out there that you must seize. You should take this moment to develop new tactics and strategies to take your income to the next level.

This really really shits me off!
It really does! As most of you may or maynot know…I’m a Internet Marketing Consultant for many offline businesses. Mostly small business owners looking to get started in the Internet Marketing field.
Being in this type of circle of business owners I constantly see them get bombarded with the latest “Cool” Internet Marketing Thing…Whatever that may be!
Well…one of my clients. I’ll call her Alice…Got a handful of invites sent to her by direct mail. She didnt know who it was or where is came from but wanted to go and invited me along.
So, I went!
Firstly there was a line of about 150 people waiting in the foyer for registration. We waited in line and were promptly told that there was not enough room for us and we would have to go into another smaller room.
That was fine…I had no problem with that because I didnt want to be crammed into a room with lots of people anyway.
I couldnt help but notice that there were a lot of people aged over 50…I thought that this was strange for a google seminar.
After registration we were ushered into a room where the presenter did the usual…make a couple of jokes and make friend with the crowd. Infact the guy was pretty likeable anyway!
Here was his whole process…Talk about the potentials of the internet for 60 minutes. Paint a picture and breed some hope that you may retire or quit your job.
The whole seminar he talked about this really cool training that they do to help your learn all about how to market on the internet. This is an 8 ½ hour session that teaches you everything you need to know about how to do it.
This 8 ½ hour training day costs only $25. I thought! Thats a good deal…but I knew that there was more. He said that they fly 12 specialists to teach for this session…and you even get 1 on 1 time.
Wait for it!
Then once you supposedly know how to market on the internet…it’s time for a website and hosting. This is the part that really pisses me off!
They are charging $2800 for the site design and set-up!
Then $2700 per year for hosting and support. WOW!
Thats $225 per month for hosting and support…does that sound a little steep. This is for every website that you want set-up with them.
Here is a website that they kept referencing too www.hairforsale.com What a shithouse website?
Do you think that it’s worth $2800? I bet not!
And hosting…dont get me started on this. You can get reseller hosting from hostgator for $25 per month. Thats even probably what they use.
Ok…This is the companies reservation wesite http://ecomtrainers.com as you can see that they mention that you will learn about ebay, google, msn and yahoo.
The guy mentioned google maybe twice, and only to reference that you use it as a search engine.
There was no mention of ebay, yahoo or msn at all! So there goes any tips or advice on what to do with them. I dont think that most of the oldies in the room actuall knew what a search engine was let alone how to use them.
And this is the companies website that are ripping all these people off!

These guys travel the world scamming people into these types of plans.
