So, Why Arent You Successful?

October 7, 2008

Hi Guys,

Have you ever doubted yourself?

How about just not tried something because you thought that you could not do it right from the beginning?

I bet you have, because everyone at some stage or another feels the same way.

You read something…and think “Bullshit” or “Oh, he can do that because he (insert reason here)

Think about this…

What would you do or attempt if you knew without a doubt that you just could NOT fail.

I bet you would get stuck in with all your might! You would keep moving forward…because you know you are not going to fail.

Well, what makes you different from the successful guys?

What makes them so good?

What makes them so great?

Well, it comes down to perception. It comes down to what you believe that you can achieve.

It comes down to dealing with your own feelings and fear.

It is facing your own giants!

Let me explain…

Fear of failure is probably the biggest obstacle that anyone can face when they are trying to get ahead online. You might thing that you can’t be successful because of your lack of resources, or stuff that is beyond your control.

But you know what…

It’s not those things that are holding you back…it’s actually how you deal with your own fear. You see…if you believe that you cannot do it, you won’t even try!

And it comes down to your own perception.

Your fear is limiting you…and it’s causing you to abandon your dreams because they seem too big or impossible. But you can manage your own feelings and your own limitations just by shifting your mindset.

I am revealing this because I have battled these same demons. I hope you take some useful information from this blog post that will give you a better quality of life!

The type of fear that I am talking about is not physical fear… it is called “Self Limiting Fear”

So how do can you overcome this killer Fear?

1. Well, first you have to realize the truth! It’s in your mind! It’s not a legitimate fear that will result in physical pain or harm. Fear stands for.

F - False
E - Expectations
A - Appearing
R - Real

2. Reality Check. Seriously, what’s the worst thing that could possible happen? Probably nothing! You need to convince yourself that nothing bad will actually happen. Then focus on what good things will come if you give it a good go? Learn the difference between devastation and disappointment. They may seem the same…but they are worlds apart! You are more than likely confusing the two feelings.

3. Visualize. Have you ever noticed that whatever you visualize or think about the most often actually becomes a reality? If you are always saying…”oh, I can’t do that” or “Impossible” guess what! It becomes a self fulfilling prophesy. Think positively and positive things will happen. I know this step might seem like a heap of bullshit, but in my opinion this is the most important of all!

4. Empower yourself. It’s amazing how being positive can affect your whole lifestyle. Read autobiographies about how people came from nothing to massive success. Watch inspiring movies, listen to positive music. All these things will help you to stay in the right mindset.

5. Personally Connect. Find someone that you can talk to. Someone that you can confide in! Someone that won’t laugh when you tell them your goals. You need to surround yourself with supportive people. It maybe a friend, a relative, a counselor, a coach or a mentor.

6. Get off your ass. Take that first step! Muster up the courage to just do it! Get out of your comfort zone. This is the only way to grow. Defeat your biggest fears.

Ok…so I have outlined 6 of the most important steps that you can take in life.

The rest is up to you!
