You will have noticed that I’ve almost disappeared from my regular blogging schedule. I must apologize. I have been trying to start too many projects and it’s really starting to stretch my time.

I dont know if you can sense the frustration I have but I can assure you that It is genuine. I’m winding up a whole heap of my projects and I’m going to concentrate on only 2. I’m going to focus on 1 Internet Marketing Niche and 1 Niche Outside Internet Marketing.
I have been sent numerous emails and PM’s on the warrior forum about how much people miss my blogging and I promise from this point on I will be posting more often than before.
I think its time for a no bullshit blog that is only offering genuine and practical Internet Marketing tips with no dirty sales tactics to get you to buy the next “hottest” product.

Hey Guys,
Membership sites seem to be all the rage
these days and I think it’s an awesome idea.
It takes the same amount of effort to create
1 recurring member as it would to create 1 sale.
That’s why I’m working on my first membership
site…but sadly for you guys it will not be
Internet Marketing related.
So here are a few tips that I have thought up
to get a membership site kicking ass.
Ready…
Have 2-3 different membership levels – Free,
Silver, Platinum and obviously charge more
and provide more for each level.
Try to get members up to the next membership
level.
Have 3 lists, one for each level of membership.
that way you can send detailed promotions to get them to upgrade.
Give away heaps of free memberships that automatically
convert to paying members after the trial period.
Automatically make members affiliates and get them
to find more members for you. This is where the bulk of
your new members will come from.
Get others in your niche to give away free memberships to
their list of previous customers and get them to put an offer
on their thank-you pages. Both Opt-in thank-you pages and
product download pages.
Running out of ideas – Ask your members what they
want…this will give you heaps of fresh ideas for new content.
If you have time and you are short of cash…I’d create 3 months
of content before the launch and with the profits from your first
batch of members get a heap of content produced so that
you have at least 6 months ahead of you.
Find a way to get your content to automatically be added
without you. I know there is a few javascripts out there that
detect what day ormonth it is and directs them to a certain
page. I don’t know how this can be implemented but I be
some smart cookie out there can do it.

Once you have a couple of months worth of content loaded up It’s
time to get your affiliates kicking ass. So, set up an affiliate
section full of things that your affiliates can use to promote your
site. Like Articles, ebooks, reports, minicourses, prewritten emails
to promote your free material. blog posts, quick start tips, interviews,
free audio lessons, Video, teleseminars, product review, classified ads,
PPC keyword lists, Banners, Buttons, Thankyou pages, 404 error pages,
ebook covers, solo emails, a marketing plan for them to get started,
Autoresponder sequences, redirect code, how to mask links,
You must do everything in your power to make them a better affiliate.
Start an affiliate newsletter to keep them motivated, let them know
when you’ve added new affiliate resources, provide a weekly planner,
FAQ’s. Get inactive affiliates motivated. Offer a higher Commission rate
for 1 week. Give them a free gift for their first referral. Do an affiliate of
the month. Interview your best affiliate and give a copy of the interview
to your other affiliates to get them motivated. You get the picture.
Send your members an email when you’ve added new content to the
paid members area and what it is. Even to your free members, this will
make them feel like they are missing out and want to upgrade.
Make sure you get a decent membership script like amember from the
Start so that it can grow with you. You don’t want to get stuck with a
Crappy script and have it collapse under the strain of your super
successful Membership site.
