Checkout My New Project :)

July 21, 2008 by Michael Silvester

 Hi Guys,

You’ve probably noticed that I have been pretty quite over the last few months and for good reason. It’s not because I have been slackening off :)

I’ve been working on a few projects and I have almost finished one of them…

Drumroll Please…

I am pleased to unveil my latest project called Click 2 Cloak.  It is an online link cloaker…with a twist.

It actually cloaks your links and uploads the file to your server so that you can have links like this.

www.yoursite.com/likes/affiliate.php
www.yoursite.com/recommends/affiliate.php

Get the drift?

All you have to do is enter a few details and WHAMMO…out the otherside you get your very own cloaked link that is hosted on your own server.

Checkout the screenshot below :)  Click on the Screenshot to give it a go…and tell me how it goes.

It’s still in beta mode…so all the feedback you can give me will be taken on board.

Take Care,

Michael SIlvester

Mick this looks like a really cool tool. I’m sick of cloaking my links by hand! I’m going to use this all the time :)

Hi Mick, Twitter works! Your link cloaker looks good. What I’d like to know though… Does it also cloak the link once you get to the webpage or does the affiliate link then show up in the browser window?

    Thanks. :-)

Hey Mick, we’re following each other on Twitter. I stopped in to check out your blog and found this neat tool. Quick question: How safe would my username and password be?

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for the comments!

Elisabeth: The cloaking site generates and uploads an php redirect..so the
link will look something like this http://www.yoursite.com/recommends/affiliate.php It will depend entirely upon what you name it in the 2nd field. The affiliate link is totally cloaked.

Frank: Glad you could stop by mate! All your details are secure, the script has absolutely no way of storing your details.

    Take Care

    Michael Silvester
